An entrepreneurial family business.
Lorenz GmbH is a family-owned investment company that backs operating businesses, owns real estate, and manages listed investments.
Investment philosophy.
We invest with a multi-year horizon and form our own view on every position. In real estate, we focus on quality locations and repeatable demand. In operating businesses, we look for aligned management, durable economics, and a clear thesis we can hold for a decade or longer.
Our capital is permanent. We have no outside LPs and no fixed exit clocks. We can be patient when it matters, and decisive when it matters more.
What guides us.
We share details selectively and directly with relevant parties. No press, no public mandates, no league tables.
Our capital base is permanent. We do not work to a fund clock and have no obligation to sell.
We bring direct experience from backing, scaling and exiting technology businesses. We evaluate opportunities the way an operator would, not the way a fund would.
Small team. Flat structure. Clear accountability. When we say yes, we mean it.
Two decades of building, exiting, and reinvesting.
